Terri Lynne Lokoff Early Learning Center Raises Money for Victims of Hurricane Sandy

Children of the Terri Lynne Lokoff Early Learning Center in Ambler recently raised money for victims of Hurricane Sandy.  After collecting pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters, a $100 donation was presented to TD Bank located on Walton Road in Plymouth Meeting.  TD Bank matched the funds to be donated to the American Red Cross.

“We think it is extremely important to teach young children that giving to those in need should be a part of their daily life,” said Lokoff Center Director Anita Block.  “We have an ongoing charity program at the Lokoff Early Learning Center and after seeing the damage done to the local area, donating to the American Red Cross through TD Bank was the logical thing to do to help others affected by the hurricane.”

Lokoff parents also got involved by collecting diapers, wipes and creams which were sent to a New Jersey fire company.
