Whitpain Resident Carl Weiner Elected Chair of PA Legislative Action Committee

Carl Weiner, the co-chair of Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin's Real Estate Department, has been elected Chair of the Pennsylvania Legislative Action Committee for the Pennsylvania / Delaware Valley Chapter of the Community Association Institute (CAI) for 2013. CAI’s Legislative Action Committees are the largest community association advocacy organization in the United States. The Committees are pro-active in introducing and advocating for legislation that is beneficial to community associations and are equally active in opposing legislation that may have an adverse impact on the interests of community associations.

CAI, “an international organization dedicated to building better communities, provides education and resources to community association homeowner leaders, professional managers, association management companies and other businesses and professionals who provide products and services to community associations.”

For over two decades, Carl Weiner has handled an enormous array of real estate law matters for Delaware Valley clients, ranging from zoning and land development to real estate financing and acquisition. He is widely regarded as one of the area's leading attorneys in association law, based on his work in the development of over 100 condominium and homeowners' associations and ongoing representation of numerous associations. A frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the CAI and the Montgomery Bar Association (MBA), Carl is a past Chairman of the MBA's Specialization Committee and Real Estate Land Use Committee. He is also a past President of the Pennsylvania/Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of CAI. A graduate of Boston University School of Law in 1981, Carl received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in 1978.
