Fire Reported at Spring House Tavern

The three-story building was set ablaze via a fire in the first-floor kitchen.

 

According to Breaking News Network (BNN), a fire was reported at 5:14 p.m. at 1032 N. Bethlehem Pike. The fire was reported to have started in the first-floor kitchen, spreading to the second floor. There was no damage done to the third floor, but the restaurant was evacuated.

The address is that of Spring House Tavern, at hotel and restaurant, in Lower Gwynedd. As of 5:19 p.m., crews reported no damage to the third floor, but that they were still "chasing the fire" in the walls. By 5:28 p.m., the visible fire had been knocked down.

At 5:40 p.m., BNN reports that the fire was placed under control by Command. The Board of Health was requested at the scene.
