Harassment, Disorderly Conduct Reported in Ambler

Disorderly Conduct: On April 18 at 2:22 a.m., Joseph Paul Purshock, 24, of Allentown, was cited for disorderly conduct after police allegedly observed the passenger of a vehicle throw a glass object out the window. Police were able to retrieve the object and discovered it was a glass marijuana smoking pipe, the report states.

Police were able to perform a traffic stop and made contact with the passenger. Purshock was advised that he will be receiving citations for disorderly conduct and littering.

Harassment: On April 22 at 9:34 p.m., Ronald McMillan, of the 1000 block of West Airy Street, Norristown, was arrested after police responded to a 9-1-1 hang up call were a female was heard screaming in the background.

It was later determined that McMillan was involved in a domestic incident with his girlfriend, and he allegedly struck her about the face. McMillan was placed under arrest and transported back to the station.

He was citied and advised not to have any contact with the victim.

Theft: On April 23 at 4:11 p.m., a resident in the 300 block of North Main Street, Ambler, reported her LG Spectra cell phone was stolen while she was at a local business in the unit block of North Main Street.
