Walsh Construction will be closing Jolly Rd., between Arch St. Rd. and Union Meeting Rd. Tuesday evening, June 12 through Thursday morning, June 14.

Walsh Construction, the contractor doing the turnpike expansion, will be installing steel beam on each side of the turnpike bridge during the closure times.

The road will be closed each night form 6 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Mark Smith, Whitpain Township Police Chief, told Patch that there will be message signs alerting motorists to the closures as well as personnel on scene to direct traffic at the construction site.

However, in the event that Walsh Construction is unable to open Jolly Rd. at 6 a.m. on any morning, motorists should be prepared to take alternate routes of travel.
