Ambler Borough

Public Drunkenness - Armando Soriano, 44 years of age of the 200 block of S. Spring Garden St. was cited for Public Drunkenness on May 6 at 12:33 a.m., after police responded to the unit block of N Main St. for a disturbance.  Soriano was transported to the station where he was lodged until sober. 

Public Drunkenness - Khaliq Bey, 19 yrs. of age of Linden Ave., Glenside was cited for Public Drunkenness and Underage Drinking on May 5 at 2:50 a.m., after police responded to the unit block of Belmont Ave. for the report of a suspicious subject.  He was transported to the station and lodged until sober.

Public Drunkenness - Jessica Harrity, 22 years of age of the 200 block of E Butler Ave. was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Public Drunkenness on May 4 at 7:12 a.m., after police responded to the 100 block of Rosemary Ave. for a reported domestic. 

Theft - Police are investigating a theft that was reported at the , on May 3, where it was reported four bottles of fragrances valued at $282 were stolen.

Public Drunkenness - John Borrell, 21 yrs. of age of Orlando Ave., Oreland was cited for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct, on May 4, after police responded to a disturbance call in the unit block of N Main St.  Borrell was transported to the police station where he was lodged until sober.

Fraud - A resident of the 100 block of Forest Ave. was the victim of identity theft after reporting on May 3, that unauthorized withdrawals were made from her checking account and magazine subscriptions were ordered. 

Theft - A resident of the 200 block of Forest Ave. reported on May 3, that lawn equipment was stolen from the bed of his truck.  Stolen were Red Max blowers and weed wackers, and a Steele weed wacker. 

Harrassment - Natalie Marella, 26 yrs of age of the 200 block of Forest Ave. was cited for Harassment after police responded to a disturbance call on May 2 at 10:15 p.m.

Whitpain Township

DUI - On April 27th at 2:49 am Ramon Maldonado, 27 yrs old of the 400 block of Hamilton St was driving south on Dekalb Pk when he failed to stop for the red signal at Skippack Pk. When officers stopped him he appeared intoxicated. He was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital where blood was drawn for testing. Charges including traffic offenses and DUI will be filed once blood results are received.

Disorderly Conduct - On April 27th at 11:15 pm, an officer observed a cream Subaru accelerate through the red light, eastbound on Skippack Pk at Dekalb Pk. During the stop, the driver, Thomas Apicella, 21 yrs old of the 100 block of Prospect St in Nutley, NJ, handed over a grinder with marijuana residue. He was cited for Disorderly Conduct for possessing paraphernalia and Carless Driving for the traffic violation. He was given written warnings for driving an unregistered vehicle and proof of insurance.

Liquor Law - On April 29th at 12:54 am, an officer noticed several juveniles in front of the 1200 building in Whitpain Hills. During the contact the officer noticed the odor of alcohol coming from a 16 yr old female resident of Blue Bell. She was cited for Underage Drinking and was released to her father.

Disorderly Conduct - On April 30th at 1:24 a.m. an officer noticed a suspicious vehicle on Valley Rd near Skippack Pk that was occupied by four subjects. When the officer approached the car he immediately smelled marijuana. The officer made contact with the driver, Betty Truong, 20 yrs old of the 1000 block of Orvilla Rd in Hatfield and passengers Alexander Moquin, 21 yrs old of the 300 block of Main St in Harleysville, Sierra Manning, 26 yrs old of the 1100 block of Independence Way in Hatfield and Brandon Morris, 23 yrs old of the 900 block of Valley Rd in Blue Bell. During the contact the officer recovered several baggies of marijuana and paraphernalia. All subjects were cited for Disorderly Conduct and released.

Assault - On April 24th at 7:52 pm, officers were called to the unit block of Bromley Dr for a Domestic. When police arrived they spoke to the victim who had locked herself in her car after being struck numerous times by her husband. She stated that her husband was intoxicated and began to strike her in the head while she was watching TV. While speaking to her, Ronald Horvath, 73 yrs old came out of the residence and was bleeding from the head and extremely intoxicated. He was taken into custody for Simple Assault, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct and Terroristic Threats. He was arraigned by District Justice Sobeck, bail was set at $5,000/cash and he was transported to Montgomery County Correctional Facility until bail is posted.

Disorderly Conduct - On April 25th at 9:40 pm a blue Jeep was stopped on Plymouth Rd at Dogwood Ln for a stop sign violation at Plymouth and Township Line Rd. During the stop the officer could smell burned marijuana and there was a partially burned marijuana cigarette on the dashboard. The officer also located a grinder.  The driver, Brittany White, 23 yrs old of the 1200 block of Cedar Hill Rd in Lower Gwynedd was cited for Disorderly Conduct for possessing a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
