Original Story:

A water main break at Township Line Rd. and Swede Rd. in Whitpain Township and East Norriton Township has those roads closed Thursday afternoon.

Ron Cione, Director of Public Works for Whitpain Township, told Patch that the Township’s sewage force main runs under Township Line Rd. and are concerned that the road could give way.

The roadway is already buckling.

The water company is already out on scene and has turned the water off and are working on fixing the water main. There is currently no estimated time when the roads will reopen.
