Montco SAAC honors Marea Pollard, Barbara Kelly and Winnie Kreamer

Montco SAAC is honoring selected volunteers at the Pre-Derby dinner dance and fundraiser. Ms. Marea Pollard has been an Ambler center volunteer for many years. She substitute teaches the arm chair exercise class, organizes in the kitchen and delivers meals to members eating in the center. “Ms. Pollard’s help is invaluable,” agrees all the staff.

Also being honored are Barbara Kelly and Winnie Kreamer who are volunteer drivers for the Meals on Wheels program, but their efforts go far beyond that. Barbara picks up baked goods every week for members. She and Winnie prepare them for distribution. Winnie also helps the staff recruit volunteers for Meals on Wheels and handles the kitchen one day a week.

The event will include dinner, dancing and a silent auction, to be held at the Empress Room in Blue Bell from 6 to 10 p.m. on April 26th. Tickets are available at $60 per person or $110 per couple by calling Kathy at 610-275-1960.
