Gov. Corbett Guest Speaker at Rotary Club of Blue Bell Event Wednesday

Blue Bell Rotary hosts the Rotary Leadership dinner, featuring 20 Rotary clubs from two districts in Pennsylvania.

Gov. Tom Corbett, R-PA, will be the guest speaker Wednesday night at the Rotary Leadership dinner at The Manor House at Prophecy Creek at 205 W. Skippack Pike in Whitpain Township.

The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Blue Bell and will feature 20 Rotary clubs from two Rotary districts in southeastern Pennsylvania: Ambler, Abington at Edge Hill, Blue Bell, Central Bucks, Churchville, Conshohocken-Plymouth-Whitemarsh, Doylestown, Glenside, Harleysville, Hatboro, Horsham, Jenkintown, Morrisville, Newtown, Norristown, North Penn, Springfield, Warminster, Warrington and Willow Grove.

Corbett will reflect on key issues he faces and his efforts to identify solutions that impact Pennsylvania communities. Furthermore, the Rotary clubs will share their key local, regional and international projects.

Corbett will begins his speech at 7:45 p.m., with an introduction by Rotary district Governors Charles Streitwieser and Frank Romano and Pennsylvania State Rep. Kate Harper.

Tickets for the event are $50 a person, which includes a sit-down dinner and beer. There is also BYOB. A 50/50 raffle at the event will benefit Whitpain Township's Wentz Run Trail Project.  Tickets can be purchased through any Rotary club or by contacting Rusty Beardsley at rusty.beardsley@gmail.com or 215-498-3007.
