Park, Stanton Ousted in Wissahickon School Board Race by Democrats

Democrats Tracie Walsh, Ron Stoloff and Sherri Becker were the top vote-getters Tuesday, along with Republican Joe Honeycutt. There were four open seats on the school board.

Republican Wissahickon School Board President Young Park and incumbent Republican Dick Stanton are expelled from the board after Tuesday's election.
The Democrats unofficially swept the school board election, but were joined by Republican Joe Honeycutt in the competition for four open seats on the board, according to Montgomery County election results.
Democrats Sherri Becker, Tracie Walsh and Ron Stoloff unofficially garnered the top three votes in the election at 4,382, 4,111 and 4,029, respectively, along with Honeycutt's 3,986 votes.
