CINDERELLA

CINDERELLA ON STAGE IN AMBLER

Family Stages’ sparkling version of Cinderella brightens the January landscape with performances at the beautifully restored Ambler Theater. The classic story of royalty, romance and fabulous footwear comes to life in a spirited, two actor version. All the familiar characters join in the action as the costumes fly fast and furiously in this marvelously creative, entertaining production. In addition to Cinderella, Prince Charming, The Fairy Godmother and the goofy step-sister, audiences meet Miles, the Town Crier. Miles is a jazzy trumpeter trying to keep the palace band in tune for the Royal Ball. Cinderella will delight family members of all ages from preschoolers to grandparents.

The rollicking script is the product of Family Stages co-founders Elise and Steve Seyfried. Steve also directs the production. Taking on the role of Prince Charming and many others is Carl Smith. Carl dazzled audiences in the December’s production of The Holiday Goose! Joining Carl is Cassidy Dermot playing the roles of Cinderella and Miles. Cassidy and Carl performed in Cinderella recently in a production at the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre. This multi-talented duo brings all the characters to life with a superb combination of charm and comic energy.
