Speaker - Cindy Hamill-Dahlgren of the Commonwealth Foundation on "Pennsylvania's proposed 2014 budget"
Cindy Hamill-Dahlgren of the Commonwealth Foundation will speak on "Pennsylvania's proposed 2014 budget and its implications for taxpayers." This is very timely since Governor Corbett made his budget address on Feb 4.
Cindy Hamill-Dahlgren is the Director of Strategic Communications for the Commonwealth Foundation for Public Policy Alternatives. Prior to joining CF, Cindy had a career in TV news, reporting for WCAU-TV and FOX 29 in Philadelphia where she covered politics, police, courts and more. She also reported for stations in Portland, Oregon and southern Illinois, as well as wrote and performed other newsroom duties in the San Diego and New York markets. Cindy has also written and produced fundraising videos for various non-profit organizations through Interlink Media in South Jersey. She won a number of awards in both news reporting and non-broadcast production. Cindy earned her master’s degree in American government from Regent University and her bachelor’s degree in journalism from William Paterson University. She is active in local politics in Delaware County where she lives with her husband and their daughter.
