World War II U.S. Navy veteran Vincent A. Pironti, 91, died Wednesday at Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler, according to his online tribute.
He was Shipfitter Second Class during World War II and received the Combat Action ribbon.
Pironti was an operating engineer with Local 542 for 69 years, per his obituary.
