Ambler Prescription Pill Dealer Found Guilty: D.A.

Maurice Princeton Johnson was found guilty of dealing prescription drugs in the Ambler area.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman announced this week that Maurice Princeton Johnson was found guilty of multiple felony possession with intent to deliver charges in Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.
Ferman said Assistant District Attorney Jason Whalley and Ambler Borough Detective Chad Cassel, along with members of the county drug task force, brought about the prosecution.
Police said Ambler law enforcement learned earlier this year that Johnson was selling prescription pills in and around the Ambler area, including near an elementary school.
Ambler Borough Police and Upper Dublin Police began an investigation and served a search warrant on March 1, police said.
Police recovered hundreds of Oxycodone and Xanax pills at Johnson's home, police said.
Johnson was remanded to Montgomery County prison without bail.
He is facing state prison time, Ferman said.
