Lower Gwynedd Crash Sends 8 To Area Hospitals

A four-car accident over the weekend sent eight people to the hospital, according to  the Lansdale Reporter

The accident, which occurred between Lower State Rd. and Welsh Rd. on Bethlehem Pike, happened at 3:31 p.m. on Saturday when a white Pontiac Sunbird struck the rear of a Ford E250 van which then hit the rear of a Toyta Rav4.

"The Toyota then went on to strike a Volvo XC90" before finally resting against the concrete barrier, according to the report.

The driver of the Pontiac Sunbird was trapped inside and was rescued by the Wissahickon Fire Company and was medevaced to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
