Firefighter Injured in Ambler House Fire Wednesday

A porch fire broke out around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of N. Main St.

A Wissahickon Fire Co. firefighter was injured and treated at the scene by Ambler Ambulance during a house fire on the 200 block of North Main Street in Ambler Wednesday afternoon, according to The Ambler Gazette.
Fire crews brought the blaze under control in about 40 minutes after responding to a call for a porch fire at 3:44 p.m., per the report. The fire spread from the front porch, to its ceiling and up to the attic of the home, which was being renovated, according to reports.
