Four Gwynedd-Mercy Students Injured in Campus Car Crash

The accident occurred at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.

 

Four male Gwynedd-Mercy College students were injured after their car crashed into a tree on campus at 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 20, according to the Ambler Gazette.

The vehicle struck a tree near the admissions building on the Evans Road, and the Lower Gwynedd Township Police Department responded to the call.

According to Action News, all four students were trapped in the car for roughly 15 minutes.

Two students were taken to Abington Memorial Hospital and were in critical condition; two others were taken to Abington Health – Lansdale with minor injuries.

Two were released on Sunday, and two were still remained for observation as of Sunday night.

The Lower Gwynedd Township Police Department is investigating this crash.
