State Police Announce DUI Checkpoints This Weekend

There will be sobriety checkpoints throughout Montgomery County between Friday and Sunday.

The Pennsylvania State Police announced Monday that sobriety checkpoints will be held throughout Montgomery County between Friday and Sunday.

Police said that areas prone to DUI crashes and arrests will be targeted throughout the county; no specific roads have been announced.

The most recent Pennsylvania State Police sobriety checkpoint was at Rt. 29 and Trappe Road in Perkiomen Township over St. Patrick’s Day weekend, when 175 vehicles were stopped and two arrests were made.
