Two Burglaries, Eight Thefts from Vehicles Reported Overnight on Monday

Two lower level residences in the Georgetown community in Lower Gwynedd Township were burglarized while vacant early Monday evening.

In the one residence, entry was gained by forcibly opening the front door, and the apartment was ransacked.

In the other, entry to the apartment was gained through an open rear window and only small items were taken.

There were also a eight reports of thefts from vehicles overnight on Monday that occurred in the Spring House and Ambler sections of the township.

Police are unsure if the thefts are related to the residential burglaries.
