Whitpain Man Cited for Not Keeping Pit Bull on Leash, Police Say
Stephen Defrancesco, of Skippack Pike, allegedly violated the confinement of dogs law in Whitpain, police said.
Whitpain Township Police said a township man was cited for allegedly letting his pit bull run loose again.
Police said Stephen Defrancesco, of the 1500 block of Skippack Pike, was cited for a violation of confinement of dogs.
On Sept. 23, at 7:49 p.m., police received a call of a black and white pit bull that was running loose in the township, police said.
When officers arrived, they recognized the dog as belonging to Defrancesco from prior contacts, police said.
The dog was returned to Defrancesco and he was cited, police said.
