Woman Injured in Lower Gwynedd Home Invasion Robbery Friday

Four thin, tall men wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves, broke in through a second-floor window, tied up residents and demanded money.

A 21-year-old woman suffered injuries after being hit with a handgun during a home invasion robbery Friday night in Lower Gwynedd where four men broke into a second-floor window, tied up occupants of the home, ransacked the house in a search for cash and then fled into nearby woods upon police arrival, per news reports.
NBC10 reports four tall, thin armed men, dressed in black clothing, gloves and masks, climbed onto the roof from a rear balcony and broke into the second floor through a window around 11 p.m. on the 1400 block of Sloan Way.
The three residents were tied up with zip ties and the curtains were taped shut, per the report.
The thieves ransacked the home and demanded money, but it is unknown if they made off with any loot.
The homeowners own a business in Philadelphia. Police are investigating whether or not the family was targeted by the invaders, per the report.
The woman was treated for injuries at Lansdale Hospital.
A Lower Gwynedd Township Police sergeant told Montgomery News that the four men jumped out of the second-floor window upon spotting a police car. Police recovered black hooded sweatshirts and gloves and two handguns outside the home, per Montgomery News.
