Deteriorated Sewer Pipe to Be Replaced Under Sumneytown Pike in Lower Gwynedd

The pipe has major or severe deterioration in 15 places. Work could begin as soon as March 2014.

It is estimated to be a three-day fix to dig up and replace a sewer pipe under Sumneytown Pike that has deteriorated in 15 places in Lower Gwynedd Township.
Replacement could come as soon as March, per The Ambler Gazette. Work calls for replacing leaky manholes, installing liners and completing full replacement.
Work is expected to be completed in three days during non-peak hours, per the article.
Lower Gwynedd Township Supervisors Tuesday allowed the township engineer to begin the replacement process.
