No New Taxes in Lower Gwynedd Township in 2014

The millage rate in Lower Gwynedd remains at 1.223 mills.

Lower Gwynedd Township Supervisors earlier this month approved a $20.3 million 2014 budget with no real estate tax increase, per the Ambler Gazette.
This leaves the millage rate in Lower Gwynedd at 1.223 mills. This means a home valued at $350,000 in the township will have annual real estate taxes of $428, per the report. 
According to the article, expenses for 2014 total $18.5 million and revenues total $20.35 million. General fund budget sits at $6.483 million.
