Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School celebrated Mercy Day, a tradition that honors and commemorates the charism and teaching of the Foundress Catherine McAuley, which focuses on her dedication to serving others. This year, the students of Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School have chosen to “re-direct their efforts from me to you” and incorporate Catherine McAuley’s commitment to service into their own celebration of Mercy Day by conducting a full day of assistance to those who are less fortunate.
For decades, Mercy Day has been a celebration held throughout all Mercy schools involving the students, faculty and administration in activities and entertainment. Their efforts will be directed to individuals within the Mercy Network who need food and clothing.
Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School is a Catholic all-girls, college-preparatory school in Lower Gwynedd, PA. All are welcome to visit Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School for the annual Open House on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 1pm to 4pm. Gwynedd Mercy Academy is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school for girls.
